Announcement of the Royal Household
As previously announced by the Bureau of the Royal Household, Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Krom Luang Ratchasarinisiribajra Mahavadra Rajadhida suffered a medical condition and lost consciousness due to a heart ailment. She had been receiving medical treatment at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital of the Thai Red Cross Society since 14 December B.E. 2565 (2022).
Since 21 May B.E. 2569 (2026), Her Royal Highness’s condition deteriorated due to an abdominal infection caused by inflammation of the large intestine, low blood pressure, cardiac arrhythmia, and abnormal blood clotting. Although the medical team provided care with the utmost dedication, her condition worsened until Thursday, 11 June B.E. 2569 (2026), at 19:48 hours, when Her Royal Highness peacefully passed away at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital of the Thai Red Cross Society, at the age of 47.
His Majesty the King has graciously ordered the Bureau of the Royal Household to arrange the funeral ceremonies in accordance with the highest royal honors and traditional royal customs, with the body of Her Royal Highness to be laid in state in the Phiman Rattaya Throne Hall in the Grand Palace.
